Community Education
Birmingham Community Education offers classes, summer camps and academic summer school programs for all community members.  The Birmingham Community Education Department also oversees the rental of BPS facilities and fields. To see current program offerings or to inquire about a rental, please visit the Birmingham Community Education website at:  www.communityed.net or call 248.203.3800. The Birmingham Community Education office is located in Seaholm High School at 2436 West Lincoln, Birmingham, 48009 in room F102. Please park in the staff/guest lot on the east side of the high school, entering off of Lincoln Street. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please note that office hours are subject to change during school breaks and holidays.

2016 Summer Camp Guide is coming!
Early February the Birmingham Community Education Camp Guide will be online at www.communityed.net. Registration begins around February 15 and brochures will be delivered to residents the last week of February. Loaded with lots of fun camps and activities, your child will enjoy the best summer EVER!
2016 Academic Summer School
The High School and Middle School brochures are online now on the homepage at www.communityed.net.
Registration for 2016 High School Academic Summer school begins on March 1, 2016 at 12:01 a.m. for Birmingham residents and is online only at www.communityed.net. Don't hesitate to register early as some of the classes fill within hours. Session 1 runs June 21-July 8. The second session is July 11-27.
The Middle School program offers mathematics and language arts review, advanced mathematics, and classes to offer review and reinforcement prior to entering high school. Middle school runs June 21-July 8. Middle school transitions is July 11-27.
Elementary Academic Review is offered July 25-August 12 for grades K-5 and is a three-week half-day class to get prepared for the upcoming school year. Information about Elementary Review is on page 3 of the 2016 Summer Camp Guide, also at www.communityed.net on the homepage.

Register for Mid-Winter Break Camp - February 15-19!
Your children will enjoy a staycation with two fun camps to choose from --- "Science made Fun!" by High Touch High Tech and "Sport Shorts" by Seaton Athletics. Go to www.communityed.net for more information and to register.

We offer ESL (English as a Second Language) Adult Education classes!

"Make a Splash!" Community Open Swim
Most Sundays at Groves High School from 1-3 p.m. Remaining dates for the 2015-2016 school year are: February 28; March 6, 13, 20. You must pre-purchase a swim card at Birmingham Community Education, www.communityed.net or 248.203.3800.
